“Our veterans are our pride.”
Presenting yourself for sacrifice on the battlefield and fighting for the sovereignty of one’s country requires a great amount of valor. Spending a lifetime in the armed forces means plenty of injuries, strains, and traumas. While serving the country, army men receive a good amount of medical attention. When the men of steel retire, the veteran affairs (VA) from the US government is there to look after their medical needs.
This department offers medical and rehabilitation programs to veterans and their families. In addition to the physiological aids, the US Department of VA provides mental health support too. The health programs cover a number of medical and surgical procedures for the men who have been in the line of fire.
Recently, VA has added alternative medicine to the veterans’ health program, which has been a fruitful step.
The Legacy clinic of chiropractic proudly serves our local veterans residing in the villages. The main aim of the legacy clinic of chiropractic is to provide alternative medicine services (acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, massage therapy) to our veterans to save them from surgical/pharmacological interventions where possible.
Many veterans have to live with chronic pain due to head and neck injuries acquired during duty times. With Legacy clinic of chiropractic being the network provider for VA, veterans can achieve effective pain relief by contacting the facility.
It is no surprise that the collaboration of the VA with the legacy clinic has been a huge success. The partnership has helped a number of veterans improve their quality of life and reduce their dependence on drugs and surgeries.
Alternative medicine procedures (acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, massage therapy) offered at the Legacy clinic can alleviate neck, back (upper back, lower back, and spinal injuries), and a variety of pain conditions. These non-interventional procedures also improve mobility and range of motion.
Once a veteran is approved by the VA providers (Veterans affairs provider), the clinic’s staff will work in coordination with the VA authorization team to schedule an appointment. The highly professional staff also determines what type of treatment will be best for you. Throughout the treatment, you might be requested for more massages, acupuncture, or chiropractic treatments (depending on the intensity of your pain and discomfort).
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our veterans and to protect them from interventional procedures.
Legacy Clinic is proud to be a community care network provider with the VA in The Villages. We offer chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture in The Villages to help our vets improve their quality of life without the use of drugs or surgery.
