Prolozone Regenerative medicine

Dr. Frank Shallenberger, MD, of the Nevada Center for Alternative & Antiaging Medicine, has been providing Ozone Therapy to his patients in clinical practice for over 30 years and has taught practitioners in North America and around the world how to utilize ozone for over 25 years. His impact in this area of medical science is revolutionary and he has the vast experience to have earned the title of “Godfather of Ozone” in North America.  Dr. Shallenberger created a new branch of ozone therapy known as Prolozone® since he was not satisfied with using ozone alone in the conventional techniques that have been in use for 100 years.

An oxygen/homeopathic injection approach called Prolozone Therapy® has been demonstrated to heal degenerative joints, herniated discs, and injured tendons and soft tissues. It works well for many types of musculoskeletal and joint pain, including degenerative discs, shoulder and elbow discomfort, rotator cuff injuries, degenerative and arthritic hips and knees, and chronic neck and back pain.

The Latin word “proli,” which means to rebuild or renew, and the word “ozone” are the roots of the term “prolozoneTM.” The most energetically active form of oxygen in the cosmos is ozone. In order to encourage the regeneration of injured tissues, joints, ligaments, and tendons, Prolozone Therapy® employs the power of oxygen. Because Prolozone Therapy® works on a cellular level and corrects the pathology of the disorder, the chronic pain sufferer can become permanently pain-free or significantly better.

HOW DOES Prolozone Therapy® WORK? Circulation plays a role in why some wounds fully recover while others do not. The vital substances that only blood can deliver—vitamins, minerals, and oxygen—must reach a damaged portion of the body for it to regenerate and mend. The most significant of them is oxygen. Lactic acid builds up due to low oxygen levels, which is what causes discomfort.

Dr. Perry’s Prolozone Therapy consists of two phases. The first involves injecting a solution of liquid vitamins, minerals, and homeopathic remedies into the wounded region to supply the correct nutrients (i.e., vertebra, ligament, tendon, muscle, connective tissue, joint space, etc.). This improves circulation and helps to break down the inflammation, which in turn reduces swelling. And lastly, oxygen in the form of ozone is introduced to the region. A medical-grade longevity ozone generator produces a certain concentration based on the problem. The ozone gas will begin to function over the next several days by oxidizing the injection site, increasing red blood cell synthesis, and improving oxygen intake. This will cause an increase in cellular and healing activity at the injection site, which will reduce pain.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS Prolozone Therapy® THE SAME AS PROLOTHERAPY?

No. Oxygen is used in Prolozone Therapy® to create healing. Inflammation is the catalyst for healing in prolotherapy. Previously, Dr. Shallenberger used prolotherapy. Despite the fact that he discovered it to be often helpful, it featured the following drawbacks. It hurts a lot during prolotherapy. Following treatment, pain often lasts for days to weeks. Prolozone Therapy® patients experience little to no discomfort during treatments and see an instant improvement. The second difference is that Prolozone Therapy® only needs a few injections, while Prolotherapy takes numerous. This implies that Prolozone Therapy® is both quicker and much less costly. The cartilage in injured knees and hips may be repaired most effectively using Prolozone therapy®. Prolotherapy often is unable to do this.

How many operations or injections are necessary? That actually depends on how severe the damage was and how the patient’s body reacts to the therapy. One injection may be beneficial, but many injections may be necessary, as well. Three to seven days pass before there is a noticeable reduction in discomfort. The response to therapy varies from person to person, but the majority only need three to five sessions.

ADDITIONAL TESTIMONIALS & 5-STAR REVIEWS:

M. Miller – “I want to share a wonderful experience I had at the Legacy Clinic in The Villages. About seventeen surgeries and countless injections from VA and private practitioners have been performed on me. I have had one knee replaced twice, at 53 years young, and the VA was getting ready to replace the other. I saw Dr. Aaron Perry at the Legacy Clinic and received an Ozone treatment on my knee that the VA wanted to replace. Hand to God, I can move this leg without pain like I have not been able to for over a decade. Better than any operation, like my knee joint, had a lube job done and it is GREAT. I hardly ever recommend anything or anyone, but I will recommend Dr. Perry to anyone having joint pains. He has literally changed my life and I can’t thank him enough.”

M. Hogan: “I need hip replacement surgery because I have severe osteoarthritis in my right hip and moderate to severe arthritis in my left hip. I recently had Cortisone injections into my right hip but decided to try the Ozone injections into my left hip to preserve what tissue I have left.

Since my Ozone injections into my left hip, I can play Pickleball much more than before, I have more movement ability on the courts, and I feel no pain while playing! Before Ozone, I did not sleep well at night because my hips would ache so bad. Now I sleep better and feel no pain from inflammation. My right hip still bothers me after the Cortisone shot so I am looking forward to seeing  Dr. Perry again for Ozone treatments! The procedure is painless, easy, and Dr. Perry always follows up with his patients to check up on how they are feeling, etc. Before opting for surgery, I am willing to try everything I can first, and suggest you give Ozone therapy a try as well!”

Regenerative Treatments In The Villages

What is Prolozone Therapy? How Does It Work?

Prolozone therapy is a form of regenerative medicine where doctors use injections of ozone in liquid form along with other therapeutic elements to stimulate the body’s tissues to heal themselves.

How Prolozone Therapy Works

Prolozone therapy is a non-surgical option for patients dealing with tissue injuries, and strains. The serum used in this therapy is created using a combination of elements such as:

  • Liquid ozone
  • Vitamins and minerals
  • Anti-inflammatory medications
  • Homeopathic medicines
  • Anesthetic agents
  • Cells that stimulate tissue regeneration

Effects of Prolozone Therapy

When doctors introduce ozone into the affected area, it improves blood circulation. As a result, the treatment site receives a fresh flow of oxygen and nutrients.

Ozone also attracts healing cells like fibroblasts and chondrocytes so they set off a reaction of tissue regeneration using the flush of nutrients available to them. The additional vitamins and minerals in the serum also support the repair of tissues while lowering inflammation levels.

Conditions that Can Heal

You can get Prolozone therapy to supplement conventional medicine for various conditions such as:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Plantas Fasciitis
  • Arthritis in the joints
  • Back pain resulting from damaged vertebra or discs
  • Osteoarthritis in the spine, knee, or hips
  • Shoulder pain from rotator cuff injuries
  • Trauma from playing sports

Causes of Muscle Pains

Ligaments and tendons are soft collagen-like tissues that support the structure of your body.

They connect bones with one another and also attach muscles to the bones. For example, ligaments keep the vertebra and discs in your spine stable so your back remains flexible. Because of their elastic texture, ligaments allow free movement so you can go about your regular activities. In case you’ve had an injury or surgical procedure, the supporting tissues could get damaged.

Excessive use of a particular joint or muscle like when you’re playing sports or working a labor-intensive job could also strain the ligaments. You start to sense pain because of the nerve endings present in the tissues reacting to the stress.
